10 years old today!

Today, at E-Classroom, we joyfully mark a decade of bringing the South African CAPS curriculum to the wonderful people of South Africa. As I take a moment to reflect on this journey, my heart swells with pride. E-Classroom, my brainchild, has been an exhilarating and heartwarming adventure.

Contemplating this significant milestone is an opportunity to delve into the reasons, methodologies, and future that have shaped the beautiful journey of E-Classroom. The inception of E-Classroom sprouted from a genuine passion, coinciding with the shift from OBE to the CAPS curriculum. Before this chapter, my professional background involved producing television shows and tailored school initiatives. Driven by a passion for developing educational content, the dawn of the new CAPS curriculum inspired me to develop resources to help teachers during the transition. The positive reception sparked the concept that would eventually blossom into E-Classroom today. 

As our journey expanded, we welcomed sponsors who generously funded the development of resources. In return, we displayed their logos on our website, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship that endured for over six years. With the team's growth and the pursuit of new developments, the inevitability of implementing member fee charges in 2018 became apparent.

E-Classroom, born out of passion, has evolved into a formidable force in education, serving as a resolute companion in the academic journey of countless learners. A heartfelt thank you extends to our sponsors and partners, both past and present, who believed and continue to believe in our mission to provide high-quality educational resources, our tech wizards who helped me transform my passion for making it accessible to thousands, and lastly, to my incredible team who have walked this journey with me from the beginning and continue to do so today – your unwavering commitment is truly invaluable.
